stop to do和stop doing的區(qū)別和用法

stop to do和doing區(qū)別：stop to do表示中斷當前做的某事，然后去做另一件事。stop doing表示停止正在做的某事。stop to do以不定式作目的狀語，to do表示為做的目的，即表示要去做…，stop doing用-ing分詞作賓語。

stop to do和stop doing的區(qū)別

1、意思不同：

（1）stop doing意思是停下正在做的事。

例句：It's probably time to stop doing that.

也許是時候該停止這樣做了。

（2）stop to do意思是停下正在做的去做另一件事。

例句：I was watching TV just now.When i heard my mother came into the room,i stopped to read my book.

剛剛我在看電視，當聽到媽媽走近房間時，我馬上停下來，然后去做作業(yè)了。

2、動作的結果不同:

（1）stop doing動作結果是停止了。

（2）stop to do開始了新的動作。
