雙重否定句常見句型

否定詞no/not等+表示否定意義的形容詞。否定詞no/not/never等+without…。否定詞no/not/never/nobody/few等+具有否定意義的動詞或短語。

1.否定詞no/not等+表示否定意義的形容詞。例如：

(1)He has no small reputation as a scientist.

他是名氣很大的科學(xué)家。

(2)No way is impossible to courage.

勇士面前無險路。

(3)It is not uncommon for students to have friendly relationship with their teachers.

學(xué)生與老師建立友好關(guān)系并不罕見。

(4)It is conflict and not unquestioning agreement that keeps freedom alive.

使自由保持活力的是沖突而不是絕對的一致。

(5)Nothing is unnecessary.

沒有什么是不必要的。

2.否定詞 no/not/never等+without…例如：

(1)No smoke without fire.

無火不起煙；無風(fēng)不起浪。

(2)We cannot succeed without your help.

沒有你們的幫助，我們就不能成功。

(3)They never meet without quarreling.

他們每次見面必吵架。

(4)Nothing to be got without pains but poverty.

只有貧窮是可以不勞而獲的。

3.否定詞no/not/never/nobody/few等+具有否定意義的動詞或短語。例如：

(1)There is no denying the truth.

真理是不能否認(rèn)的。

(2)The tart reply did not discomfort him.

那尖刻的回答并沒有使他難過。

(3)The Dole company says it is the biggest fruit packing company.Nobody disagrees.

多爾公司說它是世界上最大的水果罐頭公司。沒有人對此提出異議。

(4)In spite of the increased debts，few fail to repay.

盡管借債越來越多，但很少有人不能償還欠款。

4.英語雙重否定句不僅限于以上三種句型，還有其他一些形式。例如：

(1)It is impossible not to do the work.

不做這件工作是不可能的。(否定形容詞在前，而否定詞在后，否定不定式)

(2)I'd review all the facts of the case and,not infrequently，wonder if I hadn't made a poor decision.我會重溫那位急診病人的整個病情，常常懷疑自己做出了不妥的決定。(否定詞后接具有否定意義的副詞)

(3)But it seemed no impossibility to Marconi,…但在馬可尼看來，這不是不可能的,……(否

定詞后接具有否定意義的名詞)

(4)There is no rule that has no exception.任何規(guī)則都有例外。(兩個相同的否定詞重復(fù)使用)
