else和other的區(qū)別

other修飾名詞，位于名詞之前，else修飾不定代詞(something，everything，somebody，nobody等)，疑問代詞(who，which，what等)和疑問副詞(when，where等)，必須位于這些詞之后，與other的位置恰好相反。

else的用法

(1)The company offered the job to someone else.公司把這工作給別人了。

(2)I 'd rather he was married to somebody else.我寧愿他同別的人結婚。

(3)Where else might i find this book?別的什么地方我能找到這本書呢？

(4)There was something else bothering him.其實他的心里還另有個疙瘩。

(5)He prized it beyond everything else.他愛惜這件東西勝過其他一切。

other的用法

(1)Where's my other glove?我的那只手套在哪兒?

(2)John and the others are here.約翰和其他人都在這兒。

(3)I haven't brought many cakes. Could you get some others?我沒有多買糕點，你有多余的嗎？

(4)Think of others as well as yourself.不僅要想到自己，也要想到別人。

(5)My other sister is a doctor.我的另一個妹妹是醫(yī)生。
